True Worship!

What is a prayer? A prayer is a mode of talking with the God. We ask, we share, communicate with God with the help of prayer. There is a great power in praying to God. All the things are possible with the help of prayer. God do listens and answers all our prayers because, he is divine, he is merciful, and he is our father. Have you seen any father not listening to his child’s wishes or problems? The answer would be obviously NO. Lord listens to all our prayers. In fact, he before only understands what are we going pray. We should always pray to God pure heartedly and with a pure mind. We should not have any type of evilness within us while praying to God. By evilness I meant, bad deeds, cruel intentions, distractions, etc. I’ll narrate up a story here that will make you more understand about true worship to God.

There was man who everyday used to go to the Temple to pray and worship to God. One day, his four year old child also desired to go the Temple with him to pray to Lord. Then the man asked his child, “Do you know to pray to God?”                                                                                                                                                  “No dad, I don’t know to pray and worship to God, but still I want to go, please father, take me with you” answered the child.                                                                                                                                                                          At last, the man finally takes his child with him to the Temple. The man joins his hands and starts praying to God. After him, seeing how to pray, the child sees his father and too joins his hands and starts praying to God. After few moments, the man sees that his child is praying something to Lord. So few minutes later, he asked his child, “So what did you pray to God?”                                                                                                                              “I just said A B C D…. and said to God that I don’t know what to pray, so I just said the twenty-six alphabets, you only make out prayer from those letters” said the child.                                                                                          Tears rose up in the eyes of the man. He was so much pleased by child’s prayer and he said to God, “Lord this child has prayed to you with pure heart. Shower blessings on him.

So, this is what true worship. Just love your fellow beings, and God will love you. Lord is immortal; he can make things turn impossible to possible. I’ve seen many people praying to God for their own benefits, they say they will do this and that for God, so that he showers blessings on them. But, actually God only needs peace and love in the world. He doesn’t want any type of hatred in this beautiful world. So always pray to God! Be with a pure heart while praying and just love your fellow people. May Lord Shower blessings and love on you!
