Suicide is a Curse, Not a Solution!

Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) was fenced in great despair when the founder Veerappa Gangaiah Siddhartha Hegde was found dead on July 30th.

CCD didn’t happen overnight, it took years and years to build that esteem of the brand where every person in this country knows about. The first cafe, of the Cafe Coffee Day was opened in Bangalore in 1996. CCD is possibly the market leader regarding retail footprint with more than 2,000+ cafes in 220+ cities across India. As of March 2015, the CCD group run 1530 outlets across 29 states of India.

Cafe Coffee Day also has an international appearance in Karachi, Vienna, Dubai, Austria, Czech Republic and Prague. The business turned over revenue worth $210 million approx., employees 40,000+ and Siddhartha has a net worth of $1.3 billion.

And then the news broke out of him being missing and later the revelation of his death. He had committed suicide. VG Siddhartha’s suicide note had triggered intense speculation because he had alleged that harassment from the Income Tax department and other extraneous pressures had pushed him to take the extreme step.(Sources say that).

Why was he forced to do it?

Why did those problems become bigger than his life?

Why did he choose to die rather than overcoming that barrier?

The answer for all is lack of motivation and bulk of depression.

You try a lot but nothing seems right. There’s not a single person who understands you, no one knows what you feel, or what are you going through, nor does it seems like that care.

When you’re thinking to why you want to end your life. just remember, that you were born on this planet for some particular reason. It’s a natural phenomenon that you will face death one day, but let it come on it’s time. Every cloud has a silver lining and after every long night, there’s dawn. If Siddhartha could’ve talked to his close friends and family about the issue, there were possibilities of him still alive and good. If he would have trusted himself that he will get over this and sort out, he would have been still breathing today. But that’s the thing; IF! Everything revolves around if. And who knows that you’d be in heaven above and saying to yourself, “I wish I was alive.”

If you want to overcome obstacles in your path, make your efforts happen. If you are passing time so hard just relax and think about your dream. You are a dreamer. And you have to dream and reach for the stars; if you miss a star then grab a handful of clouds. Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen. If there will be no solution, there will be no existence of a problem. Whatever the problems are, be it personal or social every problem can be solved for sure. All you need is patience, daring and trust on yourself. It’s your life, and it’s your responsibility to make it large by overcoming every hurdles and issues that comes to your end. This will make you a real fighter not a quitter.

Life has it’s own way of doing things. If life has planned the worst for you, don’t worry, it has also planned the best of you then. Time does it work. Just give yourself a little time, and time would heal everything on it’s own. Time is the biggest player. It heals and changes everything. Whatever you situation is, time will never stay the same. All you need to do is recognize your solution staying alert. Options are meant to be there always, and needs to be chosen and rectified. No matter how much you feel lost, frustrated, depressed or low, believe that there should be another option. There is always. Find out or seek for help.

Be it career issue, or personal; giving up your life ain’t the solution of all. Yes, emotions are very effective and influencing. They get heavier on our mind and heart. But during problems and issues you need to be logical and practical. Analyze every aspect of your issue, leave no stones upturned and no facts unchecked. You need to dissect your issue by pricking every strand. And trust me you will find a clue and a chain of clue to a permanent solution.

The harder the struggle, the more glorious the triumph. Self-realization demands very great struggle.
– Swami Sivananda

You might have reached to edge of your sufferings and disasters and will think that there’s just dense fog out there, everything just invisible. But, its been said that future can never ever be predicted with complete surety. Just wait and go with the flow. You will ultimately realize that things are getting changed and getting better. Simply imagine, all the issues have been resolved because of which you had committed suicide; then what will you do? Sobbing on your decision from above. There is absolute zero value of killing your own self. If you would face that problem and tackle it like a man, surely you would be a role model for many. You would then become the roots of inspiration for them. You need to feel blessed that you have got this opportunity to live, to breathe, to feel this awesomeness of nature around. Make each and every day a new day and make your efforts count to enjoy it to the fullest. Destiny is surely written, but make yourself its editor. Shadows today, Sun shines for tomorrow.

Never ever give up your life. Live it!
